Before setting up my own business in 2002, the majority of my 'corporate world' experience was with Bass. I worked in both their brewing and pub retailing divisions including spells as Sales Director, Operations Director and Regional Managing Director.

From 2000 to 2002 I had the opportunity to be part of a small team which took 1000 pubs from Bass and prepared them for sale. We were actually sold twice and were owned briefly by venture capitalists. This was a unique experience and proved to me that even in the most difficult circumstances people who are properly led and motivated can deliver incredible results.

In 2002 I set up Barry Dore Change Solutions. These past few years have been amazing and I have had the privilige of working with many incredible people. I have included a list of my current assignments on the site.

I live in the middle of Staffordshire in a wonderful rural location. My partner Jakkie and I have 6 children between us.

As you will see from the above picture one of the great loves of my life are Landrovers including this superbly restored (not by me!) 1966 series IIA (JUT), an ex military lightweight and (my latest project) a complete restoration job on a 1989 '90'.

I also still strive to be a published author. 'The Lobster Pot Cafe', my first novel, continues to do the rounds of publishers!
